5x5: The Public Safety Innovation Summit

Collaboration is in our core

Since 2010, PSCR has held an Annual Public Safety Broadband Stakeholder Meeting that brings together representatives from public safety, federal agencies, industry, and academia. Participants hear from PSCR engineers and researchers about testing updates, upcoming R&D efforts, and opportunities to get involved, as well as industry leaders and public safety partners on cutting-edge technology findings, features, and functionalities.

Starting in 2023, PSCR partnered with the First Responder Network Authority to host 5x5: The Public Safety Innovation Summit. 5x5 is a gathering place to make voices heard and drive public safety communications forward. Whether you're a public safety professional, an academic, a government official, or an industry leader, 5x5 is an opportunity to be a part of something extraordinary.

Every year, attendees are able to:

  • Try out the latest innovations in public safety communications technology.
  • Learn how technology is being used in the field today.
  • Share ideas with fellow leaders.
  • Design the future of responder communications.

5x5―the confirmation of a strong and clear signal.
