Innovation Lab

PSCR Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab provides a one-of-a-kind, innovative research lab and network that accelerates next-generation communications technology development and adoption.  We optimize a fast, reliable, and secure network platform with advanced testing capabilities to support all PSCR and CTL-wide communications research.

The Innovation Lab was recently formed at PSCR as a synchronization of advanced research equipment, core network services, testing systems integration, and security research into a cohesive portfolio.  By supporting the telecommunications lab and full suite of capabilities, the Innovation Lab team is also able to perform research on the cutting-edge solutions as they are implemented and managed, while also documenting innovative security enhancements.

Mission:

To optimize the only federal government cutting edge telecommunications lab and network that supports research and development to advance public safety communications technologies.

Vision:

To serve as a leading communications research lab enhancing Public Safety’s communications capabilities and cybersecurity through innovation and collaboration.
