Answer the questions below, to help your organization decide if they should apply at the National or State level.

1. Has your organization received top-level recognition through an Alliance for Performance Excellence program?
   YES - Congratulations, your organization is ready to apply!
   NO - Continue to questions 2-4.
    
2. Does your organization collect, track, and analyze data and information on your organization's performance in the 5 results areas covered by the Baldrige Award Criteria? 
    
3. Do your organization assess your performance in these areas against appropriate comparisons?
    
4. Can your organization provide charts, graphs, or tables that convey your performance in these areas? 
   
   YES, to questions 2-4 - Congratulations, your organization is ready to apply!
   Note: If you responded YES to questions 2-4 but NO to question 1, you are eligible to apply for the national Baldrige Award. We also encourage you to consider how you might benefit from applying for a Baldrige-based award from your local Alliance for Performance Excellence program.
   
   NO, to questions 2-4 -  We strongly encourage your organization to begin or continue your efforts to collect, track, analyze, and use such performance data to drive improvements in your processes, operations, and outcomes. Your local Alliance program is a great place to strengthen your understanding and adoption of the concepts and principles reflected in the Baldrige Excellence Framework® and to prepare your organization to be ready to apply for the Baldrige Award.
