Utilization Reports
Under the Bayh-Dole, agencies may "require periodic reporting on the utilization or efforts at obtaining utilization that are being made by the contractor or his licensees or assignees." (35 USC 202(c)(5)). Utilization questions are asked at the agency's discretion and the questions may vary from agency to agency.
