06/19/2025 Annual Meeting Update & Shared Resources Notes
- Reminder: Our annual meeting for 2025 is on Thursday 26 June. This meeting is virtual using ZoomForGov.
- Registration is free, but required. If you plan to attend, please register now.
- Registration is at https://www.nist.gov/news-events/events/2025/06/iris-experts-group-ieg-annual-meeting.
- The agenda is at https://www.nist.gov/document/ieg-ii-summer-2025-agenda-20250508. Some details are changing; we will update next week.
- If you are registered, you should get an email with the sign in link by noon (eastern) on June 25. It will come from noreply [at] certain.nist.gov (noreply[at]certain[dot]nist[dot]gov).
- If you do not get your sign in credentials by 1400 on June 25, send a note to our moderator james.matey [at] nist.gov (james[dot]matey[at]nist[dot]gov)
- We make use of Google Drive for some our communications and collaborations. Your access to our shared Google Drive folders may be broken:
- A change in sharing policy occurred recently. Formerly, we could share to any email address. Now, we can only share to Google accounts.
- The Google account may be associated with an address that is not .gmail.com, but it needs to be a Google account.
- The link for our general distribution folder is https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Dxj2_lu0pLc0GMPaMf81JV7yNZMWNBLA?usp=sharing This should have View only permissions for everyone participating in IEG activities.
- The link for the folder for discussion group activities is https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hr2K8sdRaTh6KmEfPUme7hzu_Ltu69FD?usp=sharing. This should have Edit permissions for everyone signed up for the monthly discussion group.
- If your access is broken, send the email address associated with your Google account to our moderator, james.matey [at] nist.gov (james[dot]matey[at]nist[dot]gov).

- Access to the GitHub repo that we use for the discussion group should still work, nothing changed.
- If you are signed up for the discussion group. You should have access to https://github.com/JRMatey-NIST/IEG-DiscussionGroups.
- If you think you should have access, and are having difficulty, send our moderator a note, including your GitHub ID.
- If you get a 404 error when trying to access any of our shared resources, that likely means you are not logged into the resource.

03/28/2025 IEG Annual Meeting Update
As previously announced, our annual meeting will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 0900 to 1700 Eastern.
Registration is free, but required for all, including NIST staff and all speakers.

- The meeting is virtual only. As many requested, we had hoped to make it hybrid, but construction in our usual meeting venue made that impossible.
- Our planning for the meeting is running a little late, due to circumstances beyond our control. Our apologies.

Please register early. It is much easier for our conferences and meeting services staff to deal with no shows than with last minute registrants.
