Slap Fingerprint Segmentation Evaluation II (slapsegII) - Results

SlapsegII has been superseded by SlapsegIII

SlapSegII NISTIR 7747.pdf is the study comparing the matching accuracy of hand-marked segmentation and automated segmentation algorithm results to examine the effect of automated slap fingerprint segmentation errors on matching accuracy.

SlapSegII_NISTIR_7553.pdf is the final report from the initial SlapSegII evaluation (February 17, 2009). The appendices from that document are listed below and will be updated as new algorithms are evaluated.

If you would like to receive email notification when updates are posted send a request to slapseg@nist.gov and you will be added to the list.
