This Working Group will focus on the NICE Strategic Plan goal to Transform Learning to Build and Sustain a Diverse and Skilled Workforce. The group will conduct an ongoing environmental scan of programs, projects, and initiatives related to this strategic plan’s goals and objectives to assess the scope and sufficiency of efforts. The group will also identify gaps where more attention and effort is needed. The group will identify strategies and tactics to implement the corresponding objectives to this goal. The group will also develop corresponding metrics to measure progress and success. Transform Learning Process Working Group charter is available here.

Project Teams will execute upon items contained in the Implementation Plan for the NICE Strategic Plan. Project Teams are expected to have a 6 month duration.
Cybersecurity Educator’s Workforce Gap Project Team
Project Leads: Mike Morris, Jasmine Jackson, Jessie Bolton
This project team will seek to implement Objective 2.6 to "champion the development and recognition of teachers, faculty, and instructors as part of the in-demand workforce".
Use of Performance-Based Assessments to Measure Cybersecurity Competencies Project Team
Project Leads: Mike Morris and Richard Spires
This project team will seek to implement Objective 2.4 to “facilitate increased use of performance-based assessments to measure competencies and the capability to perform NICE Framework tasks”.
Improve the Quality and Availability of Cybersecurity Credentials Project Team
This project team was formed to implement Objective 2.3 to “improve the quality and availability of credentials (e.g., diplomas, degrees, certificates, certifications, badges) that validate competencies.” View the project charter.

Incorporating Cybersecurity Into A Public Service Education Project Team
This project team was formed to implement Objective 2.2 to “advocate for multidisciplinary approaches that integrate cybersecurity across varied curricula that support diverse learners from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.” View the project charter.

This project team was formed to implement Objective 2.1 to "foster proven learning methods and experiences shown to effectively build and sustain a diverse, inclusive, and skilled cybersecurity workforce."

Members of this Working Group are part of the broader NICE Community Coordinating Council and will be added to it automatically. Google Groups is used for this group as a resource for communication.
