2015 Accolades
The 2015 Accolades award is a representation of the world-leading density measurements conducted within the Material Measurement Laboratory. The award depicts liquids with differing densities in a sealed hourglass-like container, which serves as a liquid motion timer. The timers were acquired commercially, but each had a custom 3D printed base that was made using materials and a printer within MML. Individualized, printed plaques acknowledging the accomplishments of the Accolades recipients completed the award.
