The Story of an Old Timer: QSL cards

A first day QSL card acknowledging receipt of the broadcast were issued for those who correctly identified the new voice announcement and mailed it in within the first 24 hours.

And the response was overwhelming with over 10,000 first day QSL cards sent out. There have been several versions of WWV QSL cards made over the years. We still send them out today.
