National Legal Metrology Working Groups
NIST OWM leads and manages a series of national legal metrology and weights and measures working groups, including three U.S. National Work Groups (USNWG) administered under individual Charters and Operational Guidelines. The national working groups provide a forum for stakeholder engagement in technical discussions toward the development of uniform and appropriate U.S. legal metrology standards and, where possible, for harmonization with other related national and international standards.
