The OWM Laboratory Metrology Program provides International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)-accredited metrology training for a wide range of metrology stakeholders. This includes state laboratory metrologists; state and local weights and measures officials; representatives for the commercial weights and measures industry; federal metrology laboratory staff; and metrologists from other National Metrology Institutes and Designated Institutes (NMI/DIs).

Each laboratory metrology course is currently presented as in-person seminar format that includes both classroom and laboratory instruction. Details of each course is provided here:

Metrology seminar attendees are required to provide safety-toed footwear complying with at least the I/C-75 rating of ANSI Z41.1.
