Vision: The novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), pandemic has delivered a profound and negative impact to communities worldwide, with the suspension of normal activities having lasting effects on all. How can UV technology help with returning to normalcy?
Expected Outcome: A forum that encourages dialogue between stakeholders involved in all aspects of UV disinfection to spur communication and networking regarding resuming to normalcy measures and policies. Potential UV disinfection strategies, concerns, and regulatory barriers in restarting normal activities will be addressed over two, half-day sessions:
- Day One of the webinar begins with UV technology basics followed by hot topic panels addressing key aspects of UV use in the public/commercial/residential buildings and transportation sectors.
- Day Two of the webinar will explore commercial and consumer applications fighting all aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic leading to the closing webinar wrap up panel examining current policy and guidance for the UV disinfection for diverse settings and applications.
