Posters

General Information
 

• The deadline for poster abstract submission has passed.  Authors will be notified of poster acceptance by July 1, 2019.
• At least one of the poster authors must register for the workshop within two weeks of the registration opening, to secure the poster presentation.  Accepted abstracts without a registered presenter will be forfeited.  Authors of accepted poster abstracts will be notified via email once the registration opens.
• Posters will be displayed in the NIST Poster Hallway throughout the duration of the Workshop.  Authors must hang their posters by 12:30 pm on Monday, October 28, 2019, and the posters should remain on display until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
• Poster authors will be present to discuss their research with viewers during the evening poster reception on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
• Posters should be prepared in portrait layout, with dimensions of 36" x 48" (122 cm x 91.5 cm)
   

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
 

• Abstracts will be considered for acceptance in the following categories: (1) Allergens; (2) Authenticity, Fraud, and Adulteration; (3) Chemical Contaminants and Residues; (4) Microbiological Contamination; and (5) Other.
• Use only text in the abstract.  Do not use graphs, charts, diagrams, boxes, borders, or tables.
• Do not include references, credits, or grant support.
• Proofread carefully for formatting, spelling and grammar.
• Abstracts from vendors of commercial products or services must have a scientific emphasis and should not be submitted for promotion purposes.
• Avoid use of special characters to simplify the submission process.
• Submissions must be limited to 2000 characters for the body text (including spaces).
