Request for Information for the NIST Privacy Framework

In this Request for Information (RFI), NIST solicited information regarding organizational considerations for privacy risk management, the structure of the Privacy Framework, and specific privacy practices to be included, to inform the development of an outline of the framework. The RFI deadline was January 14, 2019, but NIST always welcomes feedback at privacyframework [at] nist.gov (privacyframework[at]nist[dot]gov).

Summary Analysis of Responses to the Request for Information (RFI)

The Summary Analysis of the Responses to the NIST Privacy Framework Request for Information provides a set of key themes from the RFI responses to inform the development of the Privacy Framework. In addition, NIST has compiled a list of standards and guidance that were cited in the RFI responses. NIST welcomes additional input for consideration, but does not plan to produce another version of the summary analysis or the standards list. Feedback may be sent to privacyframework [at] nist.gov (privacyframework[at]nist[dot]gov), but will not be posted online.
