Proposed Format: Four days of a single-session symposium with various oral speakers.
Participants: Members of academia, industry, and government with interests in the Accuracy of Powder Diffraction.
Posters:
The organizers invite contributed posters that also address issues of accuracy in powder diffraction measurements. The posters should be prepared in A0 format, portrait orientation. Download the abstract template (Word doc). Abstracts should be sent to Jim Cline and Ian Madsen: james.cline [at] nist.gov (james[dot]cline[at]nist[dot]gov) and Ian.Madsen [at] csiro.au (Ian[dot]Madsen[at]csiro[dot]au). Abstracts are due by April 1st, 2013.
Conference Reception:
The Smithsonian Natural History Museum's Department of Mineral Sciences invites conference attendees to an open house with snacks and beverages. The evening will be hosted by Smithsonian scientists who will share their research and show off their collections.
