Fall 2024 / Spring 2025 – PREP Associate for Performance of Human-Robot Interaction Project
Description: The PHRI project is conducting human studies to evaluate interface methods for controlling and programming industrial robot arms. We are putting together a testbed to conduct a simulated manufacturing task and are looking for a student with hardware experience to assist with sensor integration, automated data collection, and result analysis.
Desired qualifications: Electrical or Computer Engineering major, or relevant experience with hardware integration. Experience with design of physical hardware & software to integrate with and control sensors. Both undergraduate and graduate students will be considered. Local to NIST-Gaithersburg preferred.
