Offering more than 40 management sessions to choose from, the Quest for Excellence® is the leading conference designed around performance excellence. All types of topics and formats are available to take a deeper dive into areas important to you and your organization, including opportunities to share your own best practices.

The senior leaders of each of the six 2019 Award Recipients will provide an overview of their organizations, their strategic challenges, and the keys to their success.

Baldrige Program Director will moderate a question-and-answer session with leaders from each of the 2019 Award Recipients. The talk show format features questions submitted by attendees via the Quest conference app.

2019 Award Recipients Present Role Model Practices in Each Baldrige Category

Two sessions, each featuring the 2019 recipients presenting on their role model practices and results in a Baldrige Framework process category and related results. With six recipients, each session will cover all six process categories.

Based on attendee feedback, we now have a leadership concurrent session to enable the recipients to provide more depth on their role model leadership practices.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Southcentral Foundation, Donor Alliance, Mid-America Transplant, and Alamo Colleges District will present on special topics related to achieving performance excellence.

Leadership Best Practices of GBMC Healthcare (2019 Category Best Practice Recipient)

The Baldrige Judges found that GBMC’s leadership practices, particularly its efforts to address challenges in the greater Baltimore community, were worthy of recognition and sharing.

Communities of Excellence 2026, One Community at a Time  

The Communities of Excellence initiative is transforming the way communities across the country address their challenges, using the Baldrige Framework.

One Key Takeaway, 2019 Award Recipients

The senior leaders of each of the six 2019 Award Recipients will provide insights into one key organization-wide practice or initiative that all attendees should take back to their organizations. 

Conference Wrap-Up

Baldrige Program Director Bob Fangmeyer will share his reflections on the conference and provide a brief overview on the future direction for the Quest conference and Baldrige Program.
