WG1 Digital Identity Subgroup Roundtable Workshop Report

On March 29, a public workshop hosted by the Digital Identity Subgroup co-leads within the EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Working Group 1 (WG1): Technology Standards brought together representatives from the European Commission, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce, industry, civil society, academia, and the broader public to discuss digital identity efforts on both sides of the Atlantic. Stakeholders were able to engage directly with government representatives and subject matter experts throughout the workshop through hybrid Q&A sessions and an in-person post-event reception.
