Become a Member of the NIST Flow Cytometry Standards Consortium

  • Complete the Letter of Interest (electronic form).
  • Participants will enact a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with NIST.
    (Government agencies may join under a letter agreement or memorandum of understanding.)
  • CRADA participants contribute annual membership fee of $25,000 cash or in-kind contributions of equivalent value.

Notice of NIST Flow Cytometry Standards Consortium in the Federal Register

The NIST Flow Cytometry Standards Consortium is a public–private partnership.  This model enables NIST to:

  • Convene industry, academia, and government to identify and address measurement and standards needs across the fields of flow cytometry applications.
  • Enable members to work with NIST to develop measurement solutions and standards.
  • Leverage NIST expertise in measurement science, standards development, reference materials, technology development and fundamental research.
  • Collaborate with related programs at other organizations.

  • Access to a neutral forum to address pre-completive needs
  • Participation in developing reference materials, methods and protocols, and interlaboratory studies
  • Access to tools and datasets developed by the Consortium
  • Institutional representation on Consortium steering committee
