Advanced Manufacturing Technology Roadmap (MFGTech) Program Funding Opportunity

What is this funding opportunity? NIST is seeking applications to develop technology roadmaps for promising advanced manufacturing clusters. These grants will establish new or strengthen existing industry-driven consortia that address high-priority research challenges to grow advanced manufacturing in the United States. The emphasis of this NOFO is on technology roadmapping in areas of critical interest to the nation, including technology areas appropriate for potential future Manufacturing USA institutes.

How much is available? Approximately $2M will be available for this grant program. Anticipating making individual awards up to $300,000 each with a project performance period of up to 18 months.

Who is eligible?  All domestic non-Federal entities including accredited institutions of higher education; non-profit organizations; for-profit organizations incorporated in the United States (including U.S. territories); and state, local, territorial, and Indian tribal governments.  See posted NOFO for more details.

NIST staff will answer general questions (scope, eligibility, evaluation criteria, review process, deadlines).  They will not critique or provide feedback on any specific project ideas during the webinar or at any time before proposal submission.
