SD-55 CRYOSTAT
This is a bottom loading cryostat. The advantages are that the sample space is large and sample mounting is easy due to the standard mounting plate. The disadvantage is that the preparation is time consuming and sample change can only be done at room temperature. A tail set with quartz windows is available for SANS experiments. This system is an ideal choice for low temperature SANS experiments as well as high pressure experiments using the large clamp cell (< 2.5GPa).
