Clathrate Hydrate Database

PURPOSE

clathrate example
The Clathrate Hydrate Physical Property Database is a free web research tool that allows users worldwide to access our data collection from published experimental investigations of thermophysical and crystallographic properties of clathrate hydrates. This includes phase equilibria of clathrate hydrates of natural gas with aqueous phases containing inhibitors and artificial sea waters. This web interface also allows access to the Scientific Results from the Mallik 2002 Gas Hydrate Production Research Well Program, an international collaboration aimed at exploring the technical feasibility of extracting natural gas from gas hydrate deposits in the Canadian permafrost.

Features

  • Well-organized and archived information on current and historical investigations on clathrate hydrates
  • Detailed description of key elements in the experimental investigations such as sample purification and measurement methods
  • Worldwide collection of scientific journals
  • Information on major publications on clathrate hydrates

Scope

  • clathrate hydrates with an emphasis on natural gas
  • thermodynamic properties
