Employment Opportunities in the NIST Applied Physics Division

Located at the National Institute of Standards and Technology campus in Boulder, Colorado, the Applied Physics Division is an exciting place to advance a career in state-of-the-art research related to photonics, electromagnetics, and imaging metrology.

Over 160 division staff and associates from both the US and around the world benefit from the world-class facilities and collaborative atmosphere for which NIST Is famous.  The Division is an agile research organization actively pursuing solutions to challenging measurement problems in areas of national interest – advanced manufacturing, climate monitoring, time transfer, quantum communications, strategic computing, and quantitative medical imaging.
