Employment Opportunities in the NIST Applied Physics Division

- Researcher Associate position: Metrology for Integration of New Magnetic Materials

The NIST Quantitative Nanostructure Characterization Group anticipates a postdoc opening for candidates with a solid-state physics or materials science background and experience coding for large scale data processing. The position will focus on developing a data processing tool to simplify and standardize extraction of atomic scale electric field maps from 4D-STEM data. Understanding of crystallography, electron diffraction and experience with TEM (especially 4D-STEM) are preferred. We are looking for a mature individual capable of working both independently and in a group. The position is expected to continue up to four years.
