CFO PANEL - RISK MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE (Red Auditorium)
Overview: The purpose of this panel is for the CFOs and Risk Managers to share how the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and data are used.  The goals are to discuss the value of implementing and maturing ERM across all DOC organizations, to share examples where ERM has proven beneficial, and to gain insight on how data are/will be used throughout at the Department-level.  Emphasis will be placed on the return on investment from the ERM process though all the stages of ERM maturity.

LEADERSHIP PERSPECTIVE (Red Auditorium)
Ricardo Aguilera - Former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller
Overview: The session examines leadership skills needed for financial managers in the increasingly complex, changing, and information-rich environment.  The speaker will discuss human factors needed by leaders to understand themselves and their organization’s needs.  In addition, the particular challenges of financial managers to build relationships, effectively plan their careers, find work/life balance, and learn continuously will be discussed.
