Since 2018 York Precision Machining & Hydraulics has been a leading manufacturer of hydraulic components for customers with mission-critical needs in sea, land and air. They specialize in precision fluid power components and systems, including actuators, accumulators, cylinders and the Bear-Loc, the world leader in failsafe hydraulic locking devices. With 27 employees, York Precision Machining & Hydraulics is headquartered in York, Pennsylvania.

The Challenge

York Precision Machining & Hydraulics first engaged with MANTEC, part of the Pennsylvania MEP and the MEP National Network™, in 2018 on an IT Infrastructure GAP Analysis project. Since that time MANTEC has provided SEO, employee development support, and cybersecurity projects. York Precision Machining & Hydraulics recently turned to MANTEC for DCMA Audit Prep and Quality Management Support.

MEP's Role

MANTEC’s expert worked with York Precision Machining & Hydraulics to evaluate their current standing with ISO standards and created a plan to bring their team up to date including on-site training for their team. This was integral to their business as the industries they serve require the highest standards of quality.

 

MANTEC was able to connect York Precision Machining & Hydraulics with a temporary quality manager to fill an employment gap while they were looking for a fulltime employee allowing for a seamless transition in personnel in a role that was critical to their success.
