Over the past several years, the NCNR has achieved a number of impactful upgrades to the facility's neutron beam instrumentation. This includes commissioning of new instruments CANDoR and ν-NSE, major upgrades to the BT8 Engineering Diffractometer and Neutron Depth Profiling Instruments, the ongoing upgrade of the oldest part of the facility's neutron guide network, and numerous software, electronics, and sample environment upgrades. All told, we estimate that upgrades since 2021 have improved the collective data rate of the NCNR's instrument suite by more than a factor of two.
