From Standards to Success: Mor-Medical’s Journey to ISO Certification

With the help of: TMAC

About

Mor-Medical International designs and manufactures PVC Durable Medical Equipment in South Texas. Their patented designs use high tensile strength stainless steel bolts to secure the structural frame, can be easily and efficiently assembled by the end user and come with antibacterial protection.

The Challenge

Mor-Medical International offers a full variety of manufacturing solutions for almost any medical product. Recognizing the importance of growth and expansion, they set their sights on obtaining ISO certification to bring structure and increase quality through their processes. However, the path to ISO certification seemed daunting and unfamiliar. Uncertain of where to begin, Mor-Medical turned to TMAC, part of the MEP National Network™, for guidance, and rapidly became their beacon of expertise and support throughout the journey.

Working with TMAC was the best decision. TMAC team is very knowledgeable and made the process a seamless learning experience.
— Rose Alvarez, National Accounts Manager

MEP's Role

TMAC began by conducting a thorough assessment of Mor-Medical’s existing processes. They identified areas of improvement, pinpointed weaknesses, and highlighted opportunities to improve. With this information, TMAC was able to outline a comprehensive roadmap tailored to Mor-Medical’s unique needs and goals, setting clear milestones and deadlines. With TMAC’s guidance, Mor-Medical documented and refined their processes, establishing clear guidelines for every aspect of their operations. Cross-departmental collaboration improved, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
