Reynolds Machine, located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, is a contract manufacturer of high quality, technologically-advanced traffic control products for the rail industry.
The Challenge
Catalyst Connection, part of the Pennsylvania MEP and the MEP National Network™, recently discussed with Reynolds' management the company's desire to become certified in AS9100 Rev D Quality Management System (QMS) standard. Reynolds was receiving encouragement from major customers to pursue registration and ownership recognized the benefits to implementing such a system to the growth of their company.
Craig has been instrumental in getting our company AS9100 compliant. He audits our processes for us and helps to weed out any discrepancies or potential problems. Due to this auditing process, our shop has become much more streamlined.
MEP's Role
Catalyst Connection’s Craig Wilson worked with Reynolds Machine to develop, document and implement an AS9100 compliant quality management system. Reynolds Machine was also able to utilize grant funding that was available through various Catalyst Connection programs to offset the costs of this project.
