Bugeye Technologies, Inc., Achieves Increased Success with AS9100D Certification and Audit

Bugeye Technologies was founded by Michael E. Stockton in 2003 as part of the “Boeing Chairman’s Innovation Initiative, Project #619." This initiative allowed Bugeye to spin-off from Boeing based on developed, proven, and patented technology of the virtual mosaic display (VMD). Since that spin-off, Bugeye, based in Union, Missouri, has transformed into a high-performing small business that specializes in design and manufacture of simulated hardware. Bugeye’s portfolio of products and capabilities includes flight controls, avionics, displays, light panels, ejection seats, rudder pedals, cockpits, control loading and other complex mechanical/electrical assemblies. Bugeye is a supplier of choice for companies and government organizations needing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, design and build services, and commercially available simulation products.

 

Bugeye Technologies is committed to designing, developing, and providing defense products and services, including parts and components to the aerospace and defense industry. Many aerospace manufacturers and suppliers will only work with AS9100 certified partners because this certification helps ensure organizations have adequate quality management systems in place. Bugeye also had to have an internal audit to ensure they were meeting the requirements and standards of AS9100.
