Eagle Manufacturing Company based in Wellsburg, West Virginia, is a manufacturer of 750+ industrial safety and hazardous material handling products. Eagle’s products serve other manufacturers, fabricators, contractors and other professionals in the industries of utilities, military, government, printing, chemical, transportation, textile, automotive, agricultural, medical, oil and gas, electrical and more.
Eagle Manufacturing was acquired by Justrite® Safety Group in 2018. The Challenge
Eagle Manufacturing’s products are heavily integrated into the safety, health and environmental marketplace and as a result, operations are highly regulated so that only the safest and compliant products are provided. Not only are the customer base utilizing Eagle products required to effectively manage safe and environmentally responsible operations,
Eagle is equally committed to operating in a safe and environmentally responsible manner with the highest quality of products. Having a certified quality management system was a priority for Eagle and due to the fast pace of the current business conditions and the revised quality standard in 2015, Eagle was seeking support to evaluate existing systems and implement an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system for their 200+ employees and 4 facilities in WV.
WVMEP helped us secure approval for certification to ISO 9001:2015 through on-site assessment, training, and assistance in rewriting our quality management system policies. This is critical to the continual success of our business. We could not have done it without the tremendous efforts and resources provided by the MEP in supporting Eagle in preparation for ISO certification in a short period of time. The team was fantastic to work with, quick to respond to our questions, and promptly returned any supporting information for our approval process deadline. Their efforts will allow us to continually improve our processes to maintain our ISO certification. We highly recommend WVMEP to all manufacturing in West Virginia!
