The Reference Spreadsheet for the NICE Framework is supporting documentation that includes a database of the NICE Framework and a mapping to Office of Personnel Management codes for Federal use. This spreadsheet is updated on an ongoing basis. The current version is as of May 15, 2020.

The Pivot Table enabled spreadsheet is a pre-publication, pre-consensus tool to explore competencies and knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Future Updates

The NICE Framework is intended to be a living document. NIST will continue to serve in the capacity of convener and coordinator to gather lessons learned and ensure that the NICE Framework continues to evolve to meet the needs of stakeholders. An update to the NICE Framework is currently in progress and a new version is expected to be released in November 2020.
