Jenise Reyes-Rodriguez

Jenise Reyes-Rodriguez is a computer scientist within the Information Technology Laboratory at NIST. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computational mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao, with some grad courses in digital forensics. Some of her interests outside work are spending time with family, playing sports, working out, dancing and is also a dance fitness instructor at the NIST gym.

Kristen Greene

Kristen Greene is a Cognitive Scientist in the Visualization and Usability Group at NIST. She conducts usability and human factors research for NIST’s Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) and usable cybersecurity programs. She has an M.A. and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Rice University. She is an experienced researcher, having conducted research in the Attention and Perception Laboratory at the University of South Carolina, the Usability Testing and Analysis Facility at NASA Johnson Space Center, the Computer Human Interaction Laboratory at Rice University, and now the Information Technology Laboratory at NIST.

Jeff Greene

Jeff Greene, former vice president of global government affairs and policy at Symantec, began a new role as director of the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on February 3, 2020.

For several years, Greene has served as an appointed member of NIST’s Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board, and as a special government employee at NIST to support the President’s Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. He also worked closely with NCCoE as a Symantec representative.

Hae-Jeong Lee

Hae-Jeong Lee is the lab officer for the Materials Science and Engineering Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She enjoys assisting the division to operate effectively, efficiently and safely. She has worked for NIST and the semiconductor industry as a research chemist and a process engineer since 1994 after graduating from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) with a Ph.D. in Chemistry. She has received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Ewha Womans University. She also actively works on developing STEM education for young students from underprivileged backgrounds through a science education initiative.

Jessica Reiner

Jessica Reiner is a research chemist in the NIST Chemical Sciences Division. She earned her doctoral degree from the State University of New York at Albany and was an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education postdoctoral researcher at the Environmental Protection Agency, prior to coming to NIST. She has worked in determining chemical contaminant concentrations in sediment, water, food, biota, and humans, helping to determine potential exposure pathways, sources, distribution and fate of these chemicals. Presently, her research is focused on the improvement of analytical measurements of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) through the certification of reference materials, methods development, and other quality assurance activities.

Bala Muralikrishnan

Bala Muralikrishnan is a mechanical engineer in the Sensor Science Division at NIST.  He has been involved in modeling errors in dimensional measurement systems for the past 15 years and has championed the idea of developing documentary standards based on rigorous error model-based sensitivity analysis. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
