The 35th Quest for Excellence®

The 35th Quest for Excellence® Conference was held April 7-10, 2024, at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center, in National Harbor, MD.

Thank you to all who joined us to learn role-model best practices from nationally recognized thought leaders, Baldrige Award recipient senior leaders, and representatives from other high-performing organizations.

Conference highlights included:

• A welcome reception on Sunday, April 7, that gave attendees the opportunity to network with members of the Baldrige community, including Award recipients, Examiners, Judges, Overseers, Fellows, Foundation members, and Alliance program representatives.
• A dynamic opening keynote presentation by Shola Richards, Founder and CEO, Go Together Global, and best-selling author on Unstoppable Resilience™: The Keys to Staying Strong During Any Challenge.
• A closing keynote presentation by Robert Martichenko, Chair, TrailPaths, Inc. on Building Meaningful Employment Environments™. 
• An opening plenary session that featured senior executives from CORE, Mary Greeley Medical Center, and First Health Advisory speaking on the topic of organizational resilience, and a closing plenary session that featured senior executives from the City of Fort Collins and GBMC HealthCare addressing future emerging challenges.
• Concurrent sessions on Monday and Tuesday featuring former Award recipients and other high-performing organizations speaking on relevant topics of interest, such as leadership and social responsibility, workforce issues, and customers and strategy.
• A  Baldrige Criteria Pre-Conference Workshop presented by Mary Greeley Medical Center on the afternoon of April 7 for beginner and intermediate users of the Baldrige Criteria.
