OSAC Subcommittees

OSAC subcommittees bring together subject matter experts and other relevant stakeholders to identify, draft, and review discipline-specific standards. Subcommittees also recommend documents for the OSAC Registry.

Learn more about OSAC's 19 subcommittees, including their members, standards activities, and other work products, through the links below.

Three former OSAC subcommittees, Fire & Explosion Investigation, Forensic Odontology, and Speaker Recognition, were sunset on October 1, 2025. Standards produced by these subcommittees and currently on the OSAC Registry remain valid until they are updated or otherwise removed. Fire and explosion standards continue to be developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Speaker recognition standards continue to be developed by the Audio Engineering Society (AES).
