Standards Review Panel

The Standards Review Panel (SRP) approves OSAC Proposed Standards for posting on the OSAC Registry. To do this, they review OSAC Proposed Standards through two phases:

  • an initial review, in parallel with OSAC's open comment period
  • a final review, using the OSAC Registry Rubric

Additionally, the SRP may review standards published by standards developing organizations (SDOs) on a case-by-case basis to provide additional expertise and recommendations for OSAC Registry approval.

SRP Members

The SRP consists of nine members, including an SRP chair, a human factors expert, a legal expert, a quality assurance expert, a statistics expert, and four researchers/practitioners, strategically selected to cover a broad range of forensic expertise and practice.
