Counter

The counter is a device that keeps track of the number of neutrons that hit an instrument’s detector(s).

It can be accessed by the user:

  • when performing an individual count at the command line by using the ct command (see ct command).
  • when performing a peak scan while running the findpeak command (see FindPeak command).
  • when performing many counts as part of a trajectory or script (see Trajectory Guide: Counter).
