Operations Training Boosts Production Capacity

About

An Ohio-based company offering screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, and signs & banners. Hometown Apparel serves businesses of all sizes, restaurants, non-profits, schools, churches, and various community groups in Chillicothe, Lancaster, Columbus, and surrounding areas.

The Challenge

Hometown Apparel needed to both increase production capacity and fully produce all the screen-printed apparel in-house. They purchased and installed the necessary equipment but still required help training employees to operate the new machines.
Dawn Coleman and the OSU South Centers MEP provided an excellent solution and training opportunity for us. Their flexibility in expanding their service offerings to meet our specific needs is one of the key reasons we consider the MEP to be such a valuable partner.
— Ben Thompson, Owner

MEP's Role

The OSU South Centers MEP, in partnership with Proforma-Anatol, delivered operations training for the new screen printing press. The training was completed over two months, during which Proforma-Anatol also provided consultation to optimize production on the new press.
