ISO Certification Unlocks Efficiency and Growth for a Purdue MEP Client

About

Accion Performance is a supply chain company offering Value Added Services (VAS), specializing in kitting, assembly, and packaging.

The Challenge

Acción Performance faced a critical need for standardized procedures and process controls to reduce operational risks and drive continuous improvement. As a growing supply chain and packaging solutions provider, we recognized that establishing a Quality Management System (QMS) was essential to maintaining high efficiency and consistent throughput. However, to ensure successful implementation and adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, we knew we needed expert guidance and a trusted support system.
We truly appreciate Purdue MEP’s expertise in developing our ISO QMS system; they were vital in providing us with the necessary guidance and resources we needed to succeed.
— Rick Allen , Vice President of Operations

MEP's Role

Purdue MEP provided pivotal support to our team in developing and launching a QMS tailored for ISO 9001:2015 certification. With their extensive knowledge and hands-on guidance, Purdue MEP’s advisors walked us through the detailed process, from understanding the critical requirements to building a sustainable system that fits our operational needs.

With Purdue MEP’s expertise, our facility achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification in under 10 months. During the certification audit, we received only one Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) and had zero nonconformances—a strong indicator of our robust compliance. The newly established QMS has strengthened our operational foundation, enabling us to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
