Wyoming Completion Technologies, Inc., (WCT) is a thriving oil tool manufacturing and design firm located in Powell, Wyoming. The Challenge

To further solidify Wyoming Completion Technologies’ position in the industry, WCT sought ISO 9001 certification as a means of achieving greater sustainability and acquiring new contracts. However, finding a reputable ISO 9001 consultant at a fair price proved to be a challenge. Fortunately, Manufacturing Works, part of the MEP National Network™, an organization experienced in working with ISO 9001 consultants, connected WCT with Core Business Solutions, a vendor with a proven track record.

Assistance from Manufacturing Works enabled WCT to achieve its goal of ISO 9000 Certification. After helping to select a consultant they worked with us until the project was complete and then followed up. This has opened many opportunities for WCT.

MEP's Role

After a successful introductory call, the project was initiated, and a scope of work was established. In addition, Manufacturing Works and the Wyoming Business Council collaborated to secure a State cost share grant, which significantly reduced the cost burden of the consultation and certification process for WCT.

As a result of these efforts, Wyoming Completion Technologies was able to successfully complete its ISO 9001 consultation, obtain certification, and benefit from the cost share grant. This accomplishment has not gone unnoticed, as WCT has experienced a boost in attention and visibility, resulting in new contracts and expanded opportunities in international business.
