Computech goes beyond industry norms, consistently exceeding expectations and forging enduring partnerships.

The Challenge

Computech has several experienced machinists who have a very knowledgeable background in their area of expertise, but they also have some that are new to their position and have less knowledge of GD&T. The company needed a training course and an instructor who was able to accommodate all types of employees and bridge the knowledge gap.
We have been impressed with the breadth of areas Missouri Enterprise has been able to help us with and we have always appreciated the quality of instructors and products that Missouri Enterprise offers.
— Jeff Feltz, President

MEP's Role

Missouri Enterprise, part of the MEP National Network™, is a great solution for manufacturing companies like Computech. Computech was looking for an instructor with the expertise and knowledge needed to facilitate this training. With several years of experience working with Missouri Enterprise and the local area business manager introducing them to the internal instructor for GD&T, Computech knew they needed to utilize this training. Missouri Enterprise’s GD&T expert came on-site and worked with Computech to deliver training courses to their current employees.

Computech does a lot of work with aerospace companies that have very detailed prints and dimensions. With this training, Computech was able to minimize potential external and internal escapes, such as scrap and rework, resulting in a decrease in production time and increased revenue.
