The Challenge
The company was looking for a resource to deliver ISO 9001 internal auditing services. The audits would provide compliance analysis and guidance on needs and changes required to maintain ISO accreditation. This was important to sustain high quality processes and finished parts.
SCMEP has been a great asset and very helpful with any questions or concerns we have had.

SCMEP, part of the MEP National Network™, was able to provide Ideal Steel with the resources necessary to deliver ISO 9001 internal auditing services. The services consisted of reviewing the QMS procedures and current processes, conducting an internal audit, and conducting a full management review. The company is an ISO 9001-compliant facility complete with an in-house quality lab.
