Since 1946, Crescent Industries has provided injection molding for the medical, pharmaceutical, dental, defense, safety, electrical/electronic, aerospace and OEM/Industrial markets. With 176 employees, Crescent Industries is headquartered in New Freedom, PA.
The Challenge
Crescent Industries first engaged with MANTEC, part of the Pennsylvania MEP and the MEP National Network™, in 1996 on an ISO project. Since that time MANTEC has provided strategic planning, executive team development and process improvement projects. Crescent Industries recently turned to MANTEC for upgrading to the ISO 13485:2016 standard revision for medical devices.

MEP's Role
Crescent Industries simultaneously worked on improving processes through Six Sigma methodologies. This included individual training as well as mentoring support for successful project completion.
In addition to the process improvement projects, another MANTEC expert worked with the executive team on a trust building series. The purpose of the group conversations was to discuss the importance of trust as it relates to the business that can have a positive impact on relationships both with co-workers and customers.
