The Challenge

FoodScience realized they needed to maintain and improve on their ability to meet the needs of their customers in the human and animal health industry. They wished to support the growth of the company and sustain quality excellence through the development of people and continue the development of a continuous improvement culture. VMEC was contacted to assist with their initiative.
We're very pleased to have engaged with VMEC in our lean lffice efforts. We're grateful to have had their assistance during an important growth period in our company.
— Scott Chapman, Process Engineer

MEP's Role

VMEC provided basic training and a facilitated application project utilizing lean concepts for one of FoodScience's production areas with the idea to implement these skills at a future time to the rest of the manufacturing area. The scope of work provided training the participants in lean principles in an office environment with the intention of this opportunity to be part of a larger lean initiative and preparation for a future value stream mapping project.
