MEP's Role
With minimal defined processes, goals or measurements in place, H&M was tasked with developing a QMS from the ground up. To accomplish this, H&M turned to the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center’s (The Center) Quality Management experts, part of the MEP National Network™, for assistance. Over the course of seven one-day events, H&M’s management team and several staff members attended The Center’s ISO 9001:2015 Organizational Implementation training where they gained the skills needed to establish a functional, state-of-the-art QMS. As a result of this training, H&M was able to successfully earn their ISO certification. Completing this process allowed H&M to widen their customer base, as well as helped to improve their organization and process controls.
