Established in 2005 to support manufacturers in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, the Manufacturer's Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) is focused on supporting the growth of manufacturing and job creation throughout the region. The Council leadership and members collectively represent the “Voice of Industry” when communicating with regional, state and national entities on issues impacting the region. MCIE supports and provides educational meetings on a variety of topics of interest to manufacturers such as: innovative workforce solutions; problem-solving strategies; Advanced Manufacturing technology; regulatory compliance, import and export, and funding sources. MCIE also actively collaborates with educational and workforce partners, contributing to the development of workforce curriculum and training for manufacturers.
