Beta Implementation V1.1
This document provides a brief background on ongoing efforts in NIST/ITL/CSD in support of organizations implementing or planning to implement biometric-based personal recognition systems. It discusses CBEFF biometric data structures, elements of the conformance testing process and the CBEFF PFA CTS implementation. Planned future work is also discussed.
Overview (153 KB)
The objective of this document is to get the CTS operator familiarized with key features of the CTS in a short time. The User Guide, which is a separate document, provides detailed descriptions of the CTS and its operating procedures. The Quick Start Guide provides the step-by-step procedure on how to test binary files and how to test and edit a Manifest which is a file that defines the format to which the binary file(s) must conform.
