Future Plans

New rounds of benchmark tests are planned following a two-year cycle. Early planning is in progress for the 2020 benchmarks and any input would be greatly appreciated.  Please contact one of the chairs of the current Organizing Committee, Brandon.Lane [at] nist.gov or Lyle.Levine [at] nist.gov, with any suggestions.

Tentative 2020 plans for metals additive manufacturing include benchmark tests for e-beam powder bed using a Ti alloy and dynamic energy deposition using two different material systems.
