Browser Security Settings

The NIST Standard Reference Materials® website has been moved to a new, more secure server environment.
If you are having problems with keyword or number search, please follow the steps below to enable searching.

If you are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari:

1) Check if you are using the most current version of the browser.
2) Check if you have any browser extensions that may be blocking content, and disable if applicable.

For all browsers, SSLv3 (SSL Version 3.0) is no longer an accepted cryptographic protocol.
TLS 1.2 or above MUST be enabled on your browser in order to complete searches.

Please check with your IT support if additional assistance is needed with your browser or corporate IT settings, if applicable.
