Reaction gas chromatography - mass spectrometry. Communication 5. Determination of the position of a double bond in alkenes using selective deuteration in the column of a gas Chromatograph-mass spectrometer.

March 1, 1985
Author(s)
Anzor I. Mikaia, Vladimir Smetanin, Vladimir G. Zaikin, Valentin Vdovin
A GC-MS method is developed for the determination of double bond location in alkenes based on comparative analysis of the mass spectra of corresponding alkanes and their vicinal Dideutero-analogs obtained via online hydrogenation and selective deuteration

Reaction gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. 4structure elucidation of cyclic sulphides by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry with the use of on-line hydrodesulphurization.

September 1, 1984
Author(s)
Anzor I. Mikaia, Elena Trusova, Vladimir G. Zaikin, Naum Volinsky, Elena Karaulova, Gregory Galpern
A GC-MS method is developed for structure determination of thiacyclanes. It is based on online gas- phase hydro- and deutero-desulfurization on Raney nickel after GC separation and before MS analysis.
