Sumeet Poudel, Ph.D., is a member of the Biomarker and Genomic Sciences Group. His work focuses on metrology-based research underpinning multiple projects in advanced cell manufacturing, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine. Current projects focus on developing new methodologies to address measurement challenges by combining genomics, molecular biology, and gene targeting with flow cytometry to measure gene copy numbers, Extracellular Vesicle (EV) biology, and nanoparticle characterization. Additionally, he serves as an active staff member of the NIST Flow Cytometry Standards Consortium, led by Lili Wang.
